The Job Connect program can support you to obtain an apprenticeship by:

  • Assisting you with identifying your goals
  • Providing information on education requirements
  • Assisting you with your job search for an employer
  • Connecting you to Apprenticeship for registration
  • Monitoring your success on the job

Even if you do not have the educational requirements we may be able to help through our Scholarship program. Apply at the city you live in: Niagara Falls or St. Catharines and you will be contacted with an appointment time or Contact Us.

 

INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERS

Interested in hiring and training an apprentice? Job Connect can help.

The Job Connect program assists employers who hire apprentices by:

  • Providing a wage subsidy to offset training costs
  • Screening individuals and refer those best suited to your needs
  • Monitoring and supporting the apprentice and employer throughout his/her training
  • Making the connection to Apprenticeship for registration
  • Providing information regarding the Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit for employers who hire apprentices
